Doctors need to stop telling women with PCOS that they are infertile.
@kitkatgirl56734 ай бұрын
They told me that for years. I just hope when it’s my time it will come. So many woman I know have gotten pregnant with PCOS. Now Samantha is pregnant! I’m so happy for her. I took a test last night cause for about a week I have been having random stomach pain, and I don’t usually get that. I’ve been super fatigued and have been more moody, crying and just feeling blah. I took a test last night and there was a very faint line so idk if I am or not. I just hope I am.

I left my abusive relationship, started going to school, got married to an amazing man, had two more babies while being a full time student, I wrote a novel this summer and I'm 2 semesters away from graduating with my degree in creative writing! Honestly, I believe that I would not be where I am today without having had my son 6 years ago. Motherhood changes you. And it's such a beautiful change. The grief comment is so valid. I was 28 when I got pregnant with my oops baby, and I didn’t plan on having kids and then I got pregnant. I don’t think people understand that some people do mourn for themselves, and that is valid. Your whole life changes, and you have to put someone else’s needs ahead of your own. You can become lost as a person when you become a mom, and grieving the person you were or the life you had planned is perfectly valid. It doesn’t make someone less of a mother, it doesn’t mean they love their children any less. I still struggle with finding myself now that I’m a mom and my first child will be 5 in September.

I asked friends and coworkers for advice as my kids grew- I am now a Mama to three sons and one daughter, I also am blessed with two grandsons and three granddaughters- I think we forget that God already has our lives planned out for us, so nothing is really an oopsie- it may not be how we envisioned our lives going but God knew. Congratulations!!! You’ll be an incredible mom! I had PCOS since I was 13 (36 now) and I was always told I’d have trouble conceiving. I’m now a mother of 3. 2 whoopsies and 1 planned. Everything happens for a reason and children are always a blessing. Enjoy the ride 🤍☺️

Congratulations Samantha! Fellow “oopsie baby” mom over here and I can 1000% say that having my son has been the greatest gift and addition to my life. Soak in all of these moments with your family. And take your time. Life will not go back to the way it was before but you will find joy in this new life with your family. Currently 6 months postpartum and I am just now starting to feel like myself again. So take your time. It takes 9 months to grow/nurture your baby, give yourself grace after baby arrives. ☺️💕💕

my one and only child was a surprise, not planned at all and i truly believe creator brought her into my life at a tricky but the best time. i was 19, havent graduated from high school yet and i was actively self harming and struggling with anorexia.. the mom switched turned on and i had to change my destructive ways and finish school for mine and my childs future. ive been a sub for about 5 years or more and im so excited to watch this journey! congrats on your lil bun in the oven! ❤

God is giving u this child unexpectedly bc of your journey!!! he was giving you the reason to keep going because you recieved news you may not ever get naturally pregnant and somewhere subconciously that couldve knocked your mindset and God knew you needed this to keep true to yourself.

Please dont create reasons why someone's life turned this or that way because of what you believe in. It's such a weird way of talking about someone else's life. If you want to think that about your life then thats fine but to project that onto others, regardless of what they believe in, is simply weird. It's hers to speculate on how and why something happened, not yours.

I agree you greving the relationship part. You just started dating and didn't get a wedding. It's not the same. But you can make it work! Things happen as long as you take things seriously and enjoy the moments. You'll work things out.

Congrats!!!! SAM - I am a SAHM to my 1.5 y/o son. I LOVE IT. BUT, the first few months were really isolating and hard for me. I didn't know who I was anymore. To your comment of keeping your individuality - I didn't "feel like myself" again until my son was 15 months old. It took over a year!! Just sharing so that you know it's totally normal for it to take a year or TWO to feel like yourself again.

My partner & I had an oopsie baby come up last year after 6 years together, now 7! It was the greatest surprise we could've gotten, we eloped (we were already engaged) & our precious high risk baby girl is 7 months old & THRIVING, she is everything we could've ever wished for. YOURE never truly ready to be a mother until you're in that situation but as long as you have the means to afford the baby & endless love to give, you'll figure it out. So excited for all three of you!

LOL NOT “Our mom era is loading” 😂 love that sentence. I know this is a crazy time and I can’t imagine not having this plan and being thrown into it all but I’m really happy for you guys. This is going to be a really neat chapter and God will take care of you through it all. I think the timing with the house and everything is neat so you can see where He came into play in this surprise. Praying for you and excited to support you through this journey in whatever way we can!
