those paints look gorgeous! i love granulating paints too and you are right they do seem to need more water than usual. I have 2 different brands and they both need more water to get them to behave and show off their beauty properly, especially the dual pigment paints

I am waiting on my second order from Trupti. The Arkarr Creation paints are beautiful. Trupti ships fast. They are so creamy and wet incredibly easy. I'm currently into muted palettes and found the Verdant, Fossil and Violet Hematite particularly stunning . My second order includes the soft greens. Can't wait for those to arrive to add to my handmade watercolor collection. Those that granulate look beautiful on the textured paper.

Those paints are lovely. That greyish green is chef’s kiss! Have you ever tried the Stoneground watercolour paint? I know that Denise Soden really likes them but I rarely see them used or reviewed. It would be nice to see what you think of them and see you showcase a Canadian small business.

Lovely looking supplies, Emma. The paper and paints appear to be quite unique and I very much enjoyed watching you try these two products and how the paint responded to the paper. I wonder how the same paints might respond on watercolour paper we are more familiar with such as Windsor Newton. Have you tried it or would you be interested in doing a comparison video? Looks like there is sizing on the paper, I like to break the size with either a dip in the tub or a light wash over the whole piece of paper. Have you tried that?

Hi, it’s Trupti from Arkaar Creation. Yes, as it’s handmade it can be a little inconsistent but it works great for light washes and bring out the character of granulating colors ☺️

@@truptiratnaparkhi7057 Very nice, when you mentioned granulated color what do you mean by that? I have always used tube watercolors, if they dry out I open the tube and use as a pan color. I also paint with gouache but use it as a flat solid. When used as a water color it can have a granular quality is this what you are referring to?

@@None-685 some pigments have larger pigment size and in washes they tend to have granular texture. You will notice it in the swatches on the website or even here the way Verdant granulates and separates in two hues. There are single pigment granulating colors like Cobalt Blue Deep or Caput Mortum as well. ☺️
