I can’t get the g strong to ring out when my middle finger isn’t on the fret
@latenightthinker47375 жыл бұрын
@@RMate-bu7se Same here. It worked a little better if instead barring the entire fret with your pointer finger, you fret the bass string with your thumb and bar the bottom 3 strings with your pointer.
@RMate-bu7se5 жыл бұрын
@@latenightthinker4737 yeah it's better that way. But I've noticed that in other high quality guitars, if you play the barred chords, it goes easily

Reason i prefer your tutorials over all others is that you sing along which makes it better for me. This one lets me down on that front even though a brilliant guitar tutorial Please sing and upload again
@greciapacheco35739 жыл бұрын
For people who dont like using bar chords. You can just use the simple F and instead of B flat, just do an A on the 3rd fret. For the fingerpicking part, put your 1st finger on the G string and play the string, while playing it bring your 2nd finger down on the 2nd fret, then put your 1st finger on the B string and play it. Then play the simple F, A , Dm, and B flat(simple version: is A on the 3rd fret.

The main melody is so haunting . Simple and beautiful. This is how I want my playing to sound but I can’t quite get there . I’m leaning toward finger style more and more because I don’t want to sing, I want the guitar to sing .

@coco655487 жыл бұрын
For everyone complaining about the b flat chord, you can just capo everything to the 5th fret and the only 5 chords in the song change into C, Em, Am, F, and then G at the end of every verse/chorus. Of course, Justin's version sounds more natural and like the original, but if you wanted an easier version, there it is...

I can never get the minor note on the barre F chord to ring out. no matter how hard I press it always comes out muted. I'm used to using my ring finger to help my index finger press down on the barre when playing minor barre chords and I find this extremely taxing. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Should I just patiently build up muscle strength in the thumb or change strings for lighter ones? I'm desperate here, really want to play this song but it just never comes out right
