Privileged to have seen Mr. Bailey as Garland back in the 90s in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Fabulous. And then he was marvelous as Bette Davis in a full-length play the same season.

Jim was an Incomparable talent! Equal in his own way to the great stars he channelled 🏆. This performance is so appropriate for him, Judy, and so many of the big stars 🌟! 🕊 🕊 🕊

If any song could epitomize the life of Judy Garland, on and off the public stage, Sondheim's "I'm Still Here" fits the bill, especially with several lyrics very subtly and appropriately changed to reflect Judy's life. This is Judy's ultimate torch song celebrating both her private struggles and public triumphs. The irony, the song was composed after Judy's demise; this triumphant rendition is lovingly created by Jim Bailey whose masterfiul tribute reminds us why Judy remains a shining beacon.

Never will forget Jim Bailey doing I'm Still Here at The Cinegrill as it is a perfect tour-de-force to do that Judy sadly missed...Bravo to Jim for his brilliant Judy Garland concerts over the years where he literally brings Judy back for an evening and I have luckily experienced many of these wondrous events!!!

It''s remarkable! It's nearly impossible to tell if that's really Judy Garland or Jim Bailey on stage!!! just incredible!

I saw Jim Bailey in concert in Wimbledon, England in the late eighties. The whole concert was dedicated to Judy. The first half was all songs Garland use to sing, but in the second half, all the songs were composed after Judy died, I remember some Burt Bacharach songs and even some songs composed for Liza by Kander & Ebb. As Judy would say, the concert was maaarvelous!

You just KNOW Judy Garland was standing right next to him during this entire thing saying "go girl, you got it, GO!"

Uncanny, especially since, as far as I know, Judy never sang this song, so there's nothing to mimic. Inspired. Thanks!

Jim Bailey always had the look and the sound of Judy but I think what sets him apart from others who "do" her is the very subtle movements and gestures like her without the exaggeration that most impressionists do.

I saw Jim singing as Judy Garland at the Holiday House in Monroeville PA right outside of Pittsburgh in the early 80s. I'll never forget it or him.

Surprised more queens haven't performed this exquisite tune from Follies. A fave. I'll do it one day, I swear. The right gown, wig, makeup, and mix of adult beverages...

That's another reason to appreciate & experience the magic of Mr. Bailey. Once while he was performing at the Hollywood Roosevelt's The Cinegrill he had Judy perform, That's All I Ask Of You from Phantom of the Opera...it's as if Judy is still with us thanks entirely to the Mater of Illusion, Mr. Jim Bailey

This is truly brilliant! If anyone ever had the right to sing this song, it was Judy! You channeled her perfectly. It was just as if she was right there singing it! Bravo!!!!

When Judy came to see Jim's show she got on stage and sang with him. Later he would appear with Liza at the London Palladium in a more or less recreation of the show Judy and Liza had done at the Palladium. All the women he impersonated loved him. He was renoun around the world playing in only the best venues.

It's crazy to think that Judy is a few months younger than Betty White. It's even crazier to think that Jim is only 16 years younger than Judy. RIP to Jim and Judy.

Judy had been dead a few years when "Follies" first opened on Broadway. But had she been alive, this would have been a perfect song for her!

I read somewhere that when Judy saw Jim "do" her, she remarked, with her usual self-deprecating humor, "I had no idea that I was so pretty!" 🌈

Fabulous. If Judy had played Carlotta either in the original Broadway production, or in the movie version that MGM turned down in 1972 this would be how it would have been. However, my movie fantasy for 'Follies' is Judy as Phyllis, and Doris Day as Sally.Think about it...Judy Garland doing 'Could I Leave You?'Doris Day doing 'Losing My Mind'Definitive. If only.
