Had Wilson stepped up , defended and embraced Clark.. She could have capitalized on her supervisor playing skills and been riding the Clark Effect as her mentor. While so many attempted to drag Clark, and her fans were disgusted by the behavior of others... Wilson could have been a Hero... The first WNBA basketball player I ever heard of is Brittany Griner. The first female basketball player that caught my attention is CC. What I've learned about WNBA players, coaches, management, and officials convinces me that they need CC to be the role model that can lead them to attract an audience that appreciates basketball.
