He should check out ace attorney. It’s a long game with many episodes, but you don’t have to play them all. Pretty much you’re a defence attorney and you defend different clients in murder trials. It’s a huge strategy game where even the smallest contradictions could create the biggest breakthroughs. But it’s not really comedic. It’s strategic.
