Literally ruined the website for me. It's why I only play the same 3 games anymore... It's hard to find anything actually worth playing anymore, especially with the current categories. It's either garbage simulators, roblox remakes of those shitty appstore games, or games based around whatever's trending among children at the moment. Of course, I'm not gonna pretend like those kind of garbage games weren't still a thing back then. I mean, I used to BE a dumb child who would play such games. (had thousands of hours in feed the giant noob or w/e the fuck it was called lmfao) It was just way easier to sift through them since most of the garbage was usually in the obby category. Now, it's in EVERY category, the same exact games too. What would be even better is if every game recommendation list I find wasn't filled with shooters or other similar games... I do not want to be called slurs I wanna play minigames with my siblings 😭 (still a 50% chance of happening... epic minigames beef gets serious)

i think the reason this happens is because instead of being a normal search engine and looking up your specific word, roblox looks up the letters in the word/sentence you input so that the search is expanded, which is a very VERY bad way to do it, i think this system might have been an old system they've used and that's why it sucks, i wouldnt be surprised if that was the answer since roblox has alot of things that need updates but havent gotten them at all.

Why this happens: Games (usually the bad ones) will have a ton of trendy words at the bottom of the description, which are referred to as "tags". These tags act as keywords so that when you search those keywords up, you see that game, even if it has nothing to do with your search.

to be honest, it's not just the search system that needs an overhaul. You used to be able to scroll for atleast a bit when you click on one of the options on teh main page (like whats popular, ect) but now you rlly cant. And the Home page is so so cluttered with catergories, even sponsered games that it's hard to find 'my favourites' on there. It all leaves devs out of getting players, and jsut makes players not be bale to play much games.

the reason the search system will show unrelated games is because the word you searched appeared in their description. small, annoying, fake obby and minecraft games will often fill their description with "tags" that are commonly searched things, and popular people/games. roblox filters through the game's title and description, and if they find the word you're searching for, they give you that game. its also why its VERY hard to find specific styles of clothes, because if you search up "gyaru" 9 times out of 10 you will find 2 gyaru items amongst a sea of non-gyaru clothing. it's also common for games to put "PLAYED BY FLAMINGO" in their title or description because they know you're a popular youtuber and that people will play anything that you play.

They type unrelated stuff like “flamingo” in the description in a minecraft copy, and the system sees it as a flamingo game. Hope this helps, I enjoy your videos! When playing roblox ever since you were a baby, just as you and I have, although I have quit previously because of the chaos and disasters that took place, I too can see how horrid the game is now, and I notice that many things took place which were apart of the cause of the countless disasters and the state of the game its self in present. Roblox was a wholesome innocent game in the beginning, and has it continued it excitement poured in, such as events, new games, and level things. However these turned to horrid things, insane maniacal players thrashing horrible sentences, and odd and innappropriate behaviour. Of course these things may have always appeared once in a while in the beginning of Roblox, too, however now it is all that is visible. The website its self has completely altered, the vibe altogether, is a wrecked feat. I, personally, have known of this game for the past 10 years, and across those years it has been a roller coaster, some times it may be enjoyable, others it may be deplorable. I have now stopped playing, but I keep the kind memories that I once managed. However you of all people, Galbert, shouldn't put a stop to the treading that you began on Roblox. You, the most original of all the people that have played this game, should continue playing Roblox, and as you do, you can venture in other valleys. I have watched your previous channel embellished with a frinchet vast that opened the truth that Roblox is to be trotted along, and your channel you keep now, revealed the intricate idea you carved, a rat, a flamingo, they intertwine and beneath is the initials. These to me are the most accurate ways to word the unique and unparalleled videos you make, and I do hope you continue to be yourself, because that is which is most important as an individual.

Thhe reason is all the developers of these games put a shitload of random words in their descriptions like "albert" or "mm2" so when you search up those popular things, their game appears

the way keywords that are spammed in those weird low effort games' descriptions make finding games so hard as well. its honestly so annoying and i feel like they should've done something about it a while ago :/

Finally, somebody who can rant about the search engine. It's really annoying for new players when they want to find games, they want to play by using the search engine, but then 98% of games that popup here are completely random games, I find this absurd how a billionaire company hasn't even fixed their search engine or at least put in a filter, possibly the worst search engine I've ever laid my eyes upon.
