Have you ever worked with images like this? Let me know what other projects you worked on or what you would like to try out next!

i used jquery ui to make a puzzle game, but vanilla js approach is definitely more interesting

@@MrTomro Cool! Do you have a link to it? I would really like to see how it ended up :-)

@@Radu I don't, it was a school group project and I didn't save it to github :( . But it's an interesting library!

@@MrTomro yeah, it is. I used it few times as well. But I think it's not so used anymore nowadays.

@@Radu yep, jquery as a whole is kinda outdated and not as useful as it used to be

i think you can also add part number.because it is a part of series video
@Radu3 жыл бұрын
Yes... I was thinking to make the parts independent, because some people don't want to watch the whole thing, they maybe just want to learn the technique to cut the image. I do start with code from last time, but that VIDEO object can be just a simple Image and code will be the same. I did keep the part 2/10 in the video thumbnail, but maybe you're right and I should add it in the title as well. Will think about it.

Hello, im trying to use an image as source instead of camera for this project, are there things specific to camera i should be aware of? Thanks!
@Radu8 ай бұрын
Not really, should be straightforward to change it to use an image instead. But you'll need to use a local server (the live-server extension, in VS Code, for example). Otherwise you'll have issues with CORS.

tnx Radu, its awesome and very interesting video, I will subscribe to your channel. Can you please tell me is it possible to somehow recognize the text and the correspondence of two pictures through js, or is it worth using other technologies for this?
@Radu3 жыл бұрын
Hi Nikolay, thanks for subscribing! Usually tasks like that are handled server-side because they are more processor intensive. But I've heard good things about tesseract.js for recognizing text. I'm not sure what you mean by correspondence of two images. Do you mean to compute some kind of similarity measure?
