Rich used that as a signature for his beats. Go listen to "Don Doda" by Rich boy or "News Paper On the Floor" by Yo Gotti. Also Shawty Redd popularized the hihat rolls as well. All of these trap producers got their style from Redd and D. Rich.

Lex drums were more 36 Mafia based. But both Lex and Shawty Redds style come from 36 mafia / Memphis influence
