Thank God this beautiful home and grounds still exist as a gorgeous, historical place that people can experience in person.

When I first starting going to Biltmore in the early 80’s there was very little known about the history other than the 2 books I bought at gift store. I am so glad that has changed and there is so much out there to learn. Your video was great, thank you.

Being from North Carolina (Raleigh), this home has always meant alot to me, it is the most beautiful home in America (my opinion ), I have been there twice and it is a home that all North Carolinians are very proud of !

No. It is not like Downton! Abbey. Biltmore started it's decline the moment they moved in. America did not have a "servant class" to populate the estate. America never had royalty or social pedigree titles. American principles and philosophies are incompatible with royalty. We were founded with separation of church and state. Gilded Age people copied European royal society. Biltmore was a fabulous ostentation of wealth. That was all.
