I've always been drawn to the GR-1, but I feel like I would be disappointed owning one of these things with plugins that pretty much do the same thing. Something about hands on with gear and the exploration factor can't be replicated though. You tempt me still

If you want more hands on feel for VSTs find a mappable controller with all the knobs and sliders you need for your favorite granular plug-in.
