Reggie, close but not quite right. Burning Flames is from Antigua, not the VI. But I understand why you made that comparison. Flames is the architect of the “Rock Calypso” style that had all the VI artist and much of the Caribbean, try to emulate. The rhythm box was crushing any and everything. And Flames was lyrically above the rest, so they are the benchmark.
