I first heard this song when I was ten years old, during the closing credits of the film “F/X”. I remember taking a little portable cassette player and holding it close to the television speakers to record the song. I must have listened to it 100 times. Still here at 51 years old, loving music at least as much as I did then.

I remember the original song. Folks, in 1981 nobody rapped like this guy. Back then people were still "Hip Hop you don't stop". 1981 is before Eric B. & Rakim came out. It's before Chuck D. The rap is great but it wasn't there in 1981.
