I like the stairs over the kitchen in THEORY... but just keep picturing dust, dirt, mud, etc. getting kicked off people's feet down onto the kitchen counter and/or into and on the food sitting there.

I thought that too! My solution is I would just close off the stairs so they aren't open... maybe with a piece of frosted glass so that way the light still shines through and feels open but then the dirt would collect on the glass on not on the countertop.

Very nice. Luv the high ceiling in the main living space. However, I would close in the back of the steps over the kitchen counter with a clear lucite material, and reconfigure the bath.

That really is a unique place! I loved the upstairs cosy seating area, the bathroom but was not expecting the cosy hidden away bedroom! Very lovely, very unusual place 💖

Always been a fan of cozy tiny spaces and this one isn't sooo small at all.😊 I love the design, it has everything you need and I can see me sitting there, reading a book or baking some cookies!😂❤ The outdoor area is great aswell. The hottub is perfect and the dining table out there makes it even better.🎉 Thank you for another great video!😊

My only issue is the stairs over the counter that are open....dirt would potentially fall onto the counter from the stairs from socks or shoes

Yes not sanitary with dirt, hair, mulch etc that would get on food areas.
@nofurtherwest3474 Жыл бұрын
Yep. They should have at least made them non-see through stairs. Just normal so the dirt can't get to the counter below.

Love the unique shape of this psuedo-A frame, the outdoor paint and trim, gorgeous setting with many surrounding trees on the property, and beautiful decor (except the deer heads, although the dialogue between them with Levi and Justin's voices was imaginatively comical😅) The interior size was perfect with the full size appliances in the kitchen and creative staircase to the loft. Loved the outdoor spaces, especially the sauna and hot tub. Your videos are my great Saturday morning escape!

I've always been a fan of A-frames and especially cabins that are the original "Tiny house". Though I see some challenges in this one like getting dressed in the morning. That bedroom would be cozy to sleep in but not much for getting dressed! Maybe set it up in the hallawy/reading area? And no place to do laundry but then I'm looking at functions of a permanent residence, not a vacation home.

Anyone thinking of critiquing the deer heads... The deer are overpopulating to the point where they do damage. I promise this was good for the environment and the meat is appreciated far more than those who shop and get it prepackaged detached from the animal.

I think the criticism is based on how the deer heads kinda clash with decor style.

I like the coziness but for me it would be too cramped under the roof and the open stairs over the kitchen counter aren’t ideal. Maybe they could just close the open parts with white wood. That would work and look nice. Thank you for showing this!

Are the stairs an after-thought? It looks like the owners had a different idea that couldn’t meet code and then came up with these stairs. A bit unsettling on an otherwise fairly nice design.

I honestly love your videos but I have feedback that needs to be shared. The use of the word “space” as a filler word becomes so distracting that it’s hard to focus on anything else. In this video you use the word “space” 27 times. I haven’t counted in your other videos but it’s prominent. Dropping the word space after every area you mention would improve your videos tremendously. 🤙

I love these places, but they are all a cleaning nightmare. Just trying to make a bed and vacuum those crevices in such a tight space. Argghhh! Not to mention lugging everything up and down stairs that are precarious to begin with. If you go tiny to live, you definitely need to be a minimalist. As an Airbnb, it would be the cleaning cost for me in a tight turnaround.
