I'm impressed. I'm not a imagine dragons fan, however you can tell they love this song. More importantly, they believe in this songs message. His intensity during the chorus is palpable.

I'm shocked at how respectful and artistically true to the original this was. I listened ready to hate it and it emdws up being so good. It could have been better but it was their first public performance, of course there will be knits to pick. But of you can't appreciate the effort to maintain the true soul of the original in this piece than you're opinion isn't worth much to me. Keep up the practice and give it another go in the future guys.

They must have really bent-over-backwards, again, as far as they're willing to, to ATTEMPT to find some of the message, method, and flavour of Midnight Oil, which is an old favourite of mine. Just found this. Big fan of both the oils and Imagine Dragon. Reading the comments. I am wondering if they even listened to the version. I was listening while reading and i think they actually did a really good job. Sometimes you just can not please people. As you heard it was their first time playing the song. They started as a cover band playing in casinos. I heard them live 4 times and they covered Smells like teen spirit, with or without you, 500 miles, etc. and I can tell you they can cover songs. Of course not everyone but still. My fahter is a huge U2 fan who doesn't really listen to ID but he was blown away by With or without you
