Many times I have heard this song (portions) in KZbin Shorts. Then I saw a girl in a Union Jack (British Flag) jacket request "Believer" from a pianist. That's how I learned the name of the song, so I could come here and look it up. Although this is not my kind of music, I do want to say it is cleverly put together. And the English is well done. My mother and grandmother hated me simply because I was born a girl; I started writing poetry at the age of 11. And I deliberately fell with my thighs on the ice, the pain from the blows drowned out the pain in my soul. Life is not a miracle, surviving this damn life is a miracle! This guy knows what he's singing about, he knows exactly what PAIN is! And such songs take away the pain. Songs like these save you from suicide! I scream this song and live in spite of two evil old witches 😌

I am old but I like this song. I do not know which message it conveys. I knew an old woman back in the 80th who really loved Grace Jones' song "I have never seen this face before" because of the accordion part. That cracked me up. With me it is the other way around: "Believer" could have been so much better without these high pichted voices reminding of the German band "Modern Talking". Yet, all I need to do: I switch my hearing aid off when the castrates mess up the song. Merry Christmas to all of you near and far.
