Even though this song is 3 years old, I have so much nostalgia for it. (Especially around 1:58 and from 2:46 on) The song/ album came out right around my last day of school of Freshman year, and I remember listening to it on that day and just thinking “wow this is a masterpiece”. This song is a very meaningful one to me ! For context 3 years ago I met whom I genuinely know is a once in a lifetime love. We worked together and I’ll never forget the first time I had seen her walking out of the kitchen we worked in as I was walking in. Very soon after we would stay up talking to eachother until 3 or 4 every morning just enjoying eachothers company until one thing lead to another and we had become engaged. During that time I had also enlisted into the U.S. airforce and gone through BMT and she was a polish citizen who had to go back after her job visa expired. Covid hit and things became very difficult to understand. I made a big mistake and had broken things off between us. Then 2 years of being apart we started talking again. Now she’s the love of my life and this song has been with us through the whole journey! Stay you 2022 ❤

My interpretation of each of the songs. Believer: This song tastes like venom and almost vengeful. It's like taking a vacation to the dark side and enjoying every moment of it. Whatever It Takes: It feels VERY angsty and raw. Like you know there's a lot of fault and regret flooding everywhere. Thunder: This song is a nostalgic and whimsical flashback of good times. But that of course changes when you realize that the past in the past, and you have to confront your own demons now without someone holding your hand. Walking The Wire: It's the feeling of confidence and striding through a battlefield and knowing that you'll make a difference in the world. You can smell gunpowder and victory as you keep moving forward.
