The level of "down bad" one can be in-dialogue for Lycaon suggests yes, at least to a certain extent. Plus, Ben being so happy to be complemented on his appearance, and Anton saying "you're the only one who really gets me." Its not to the level of the women for most characters, but it is there.

The trust missions unlock after Chapter 2 Interlude. You also need to have the character to unlock the trust mission, then you'll randomly meet them around town and can also message them to hang out
