I kind of agree with the Lotheb and Zilliax discussion. They are broken cards, no arguing about that but no matter which deck you put them in they perform the same. You can't combo them with other broken stuff and they don't have the "randomness" attached to them. 5 mana break point makes them perfect cards in my opinion. They are not too fast, or too slow.

24:21 - can confirm, I had a hate for Big Priests, and started running Secret Mage; even pre-Cloud Prince (in fact, pre-Mana Wyrm nerf), the deck was a great soft counter to Big Priest and a fat hard counter to Star Aligner Druid. Good times...

The reason Zilliax is seen as "fairer" than Loatheb is because one affects the board, which is something that's available in some form or another to EVERY MINION EVER, while the other affects an opponent's hand, an effect that's very rarely seen. Zilliax is also general purpose tool, it works the same against everyone, but its effects are never that grandiose. Loatheb is a tech card. When he works, he works wonders. Against decks with few or no spells, he's just an understatted minion.

You know what would be hot. Druid with the weapon that gives 10 mana and the new druid card that makes everything back to zero. Play that card then attack and use the last charge on the weapon. You are at 10 mana and opponent at zero. Just

That's why some druid run both that weapon and Sphere of Sapience. Reset mana with Alignment while the Twig is on and then slap the Sphere on the next turn. Boom, ten mana

I decided to put Kuhn in my deck to get back up to 10 mana. The benefit there is that you have an extra 7/7 body.

At first, I was going to argue that Zilliax isn't a broken card. But then I remembered how many times I've attached it to a minion to heal for 6+ while putting a taunt and destroying an annoying minion all while getting me to a safe health total. The most health I've ever healed is probably that one time I attached it to a Tonk which healed me from like 5 health back to 30. Totally balanced!
