@@sophiamarquis- if you followed his career at all instead of making such a blanket statement, then you’d know that he did it as a shock value/marketing thing to draw GenXrs in. It worked! THEN later on he made a public announcement that his music and image would be changing because of the GenZr children who were listening to his music and he had a responsibility for what they were exposed to. His music eventually became more and more religious and/or spiritual in nature (along with politics and love). Those song messages were all about following God, Jesus being the way, and to be a good person. I as a parent kept my sons away from listening to his earlier material and they listened more to his material that had great messages in them until they got older and were adult enough to listen to his earlier work. Food for thought…..

@@piijay14 Calm down... you don't have to defend that. Prince's real friends know the truth. But I have to say biologically, people do being to age faster between 40 and 60. The age is different for each person. It is just how we grow faster when we are younger. It is just human biology. Consider how much growth a baby has between birth and the 1st birhday. Growth slows down as the child grows... then we start to age slowly. Then we hit a point where the aging is more rapid. It is just human biology.

Prince looked great for a man in his fifties, even to his last days. Aside from the use of painkillers, due to serious damage done to his hips and knees after all those years of jumping off pianos in high heels, he lived a drug and alcohol free life. He believed in clean living. He looked great and I bet he would have maintained those looks well into his 80s.

I can believe that... I take pain meds, they put age on u quicker, unless u stop takin them... which I do, cuz I hate them.. What lil age showed on Prince was mainly from pain & meds.. Like u said, even then, he still looked to be in his 20s majority of the times..

@@Detoritte It is well known that Prince's last days on this earth was consumed with outrageous pain, again, due to the abuse he put his body through as a younger performer. (See his earlier videos from the 80s.) Like my grandmother always said to us. What you put your body through while you are young, you will feel every bit of it once your old. He suffered pain all through his hips, knees and abdomen, and when we are in pain, we will do anything, take anything to alleviate it and unfortunately, he took too much of the wrong thing that day.

I remember back in 1996 I met Prince very shy. I worked at LAX Terminal 2 Security Supervisor I had to retrieve his Body Guard s Brass Nockels it was my job. DIDN'T ENJOY Taking them away. But have much respect and Love for his music. He will be missed by many.

Wow! Prince's aging video was extremely scary at frame 2:21, his eyes reminded me of the movie, The Howling. He was one Great performer, who I still do not believe he overdosed. A person taking substances, KNOW how to limit and ration their supplies. I think he was given the choice to die by overdose, by his own hands, be killed by them or third option which he took. To fake his death, he can not ever show his face anywhere, for the rest of his life... completely erased and hidden from society. Only close people know where Prince, and others like him are located... Kinda like Witness Protect and Safe House, Entertainment Industry Style. This Age Progression is quite impressive, scary and creepy. I definitely wouldn't have it done. Let me cross my bridge, one step at a TIME, the way Our God and Heavenly Father and Christ Jesus intended for us to. I am not in a hurry to see, I will see it when I get there... In due TIME sir.

I feel absolutely bad for anyone who became a Prince fan in the 1990s and 2000s. But anyone who is a 50s, 60s and 70s baby they will understand why. You 90s and 00s Prince fans will never understand what it was like living through his classic period of albums such as Dirty Mind, Controversy, 1999, Purple Rain, Around The World In A Day, Parade and Sign O'the Times. You missed out on the days when he broke colour barriers on MTV thanks to 1999 and Little Red Corvette, the Purple Rain era he won an Oscar, Grammy's, the film, album and single When Doves Cry were number 1 at the same time. I can go on but Princes best years were 1980-1987.
