When Desmond came out with that first punch in the beginning, it had the same energy as when an Avenger doing something badass in the knick of time and the crowd goes crazy. Really well timed moment, and flowed well with the character Desmond established in the film and archetype he has practiced playing for so long. Crazy cliffhanger in the end! Okay okay okay lore and spoiler time: 1. So far we’ve seen 3 types of books: creation, destruction and healing. 2. We have little reason to believe Des because he literally has a book that makes this too like the minimum and sword. Unless, Des can only create things to destroy. 3. Leland might have a different type of book unless he is also a healing type. 4. No body no case so Dylan is defo alive.
