Question?,, What makes Any One "not like" this version? A simple mind? Poor cognitive skills? No musical sense? A clueless and uncomprehending naivete? Compared to the studio version this version is more complex, more intuitive, more virtuosic and more vibrant. These guys were a cornerstone of my music library in the mid 70's to mid 80's. I wore out their records while my ZepHead friends told me that 10cc were "ditty writers". NOT. I didn't know there were live versions of them performing so now I can re-discover 10cc. What a joy to find these video's! Thank you! imagine 1960 and 10cc Fan Club!

(West Philly) Ì remember poking my buddy in the ribs after 5 songs and saying; "This is the best band I have ever heard live." And that's saying something considering I've attended 1011 concerts since 1973 and seen em all, the "best of the best" live. Pink Floyd, Yes, Genesis, ELO, ELP, Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Billy Joel, Eagles, J Geils, Bob Seger, Queen, Alan Parsons, Kansas, Joe Bonamassa and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

I am bummed that I did not follow these guys after their big hit I'm Not in Love". Technology has made it much easier to acquire their music without having to jump through a lot of hoops. I think it did require a more refined taste to follow these guys in the 1970's. I have discovered a lot of neat 1970's groups thanks to KZbin. Another individual that I found thanks to yt is the late great Ronnie Lane and his former band Small Faces/Faces. Once again since I am in the states instead of the Uk exposure was somewhat limited unless I I imported more albums. 10cc or Faces did not have the marketing arm or outreach of say Queen or Stones. So if we were lucky we could stumble on them thanks to a good buddy. Otherwise it was pot-luck. These guys were pure geniuses. Well I can get my ears tickled anytime I want to now!

@@nathanfrahm Definitely. They didn't hit their slump until "Look Hear," but even their lesser albums were great...with the obvious exception of their last one "Mirror Mirror." Yes indeed. I was a child in their big period, while Dreadlock Holiday was a hit in my early teenage years. Underrated is a good term for them, while they were a band that when I was growing up I could always recall a song of theirs. The English Steely Dan, who I also like in much the same way.

Sammy Boy Sadly part of that is on 10cc. Songs like “One Night in Paris” or “Feel the Benefit” were just too long, even for album rock stations. And then other songs, like some of the more off-the-wall Godley and Creme songs would never get airplay outside of album rock stations either. Then there was the problem that some of their stuff was just plain not radio-ready, as in kinda offensive. “Sheet Music” had three songs alone that fit that description: “Baron Samedi,” “Hotel” and “Oh Effendi.” And the sad thing was, that was their strong suit. Personally I think 10cc was just too good for us...
