Love it, yet the ending has left me feeling a bit flat... Shouldn't there be a Chapter 5 with the Semi Final and a real "imagine if" ending?

The Crystal Palace game was my first Watford game I can remember. I remember me being in floods of tears at the end as a seven year old. This is what Watford means to me 🐝 💛

Big well done to those who put this superb production together- well remember 1984 as I had the honour to be the local radio commentator whose words were fed by phone to Sir Elton in his hotel in the South of France before he played a gig that night. We interviewed him live on the final whistle and you could almost hear the tears as he was speaking as GT punched the air in front of the Watford end at Villa Park. The final incredible- just how lucky was this Watford boy to call the first ever FA Cup Final in which his club had appeared but even more amazing the scenes in Charter Place on the sunday- you'd have thought they had won the cup. Good luck to the boys on saturday.

I remember watching the Leicester game at the age of 7 and that was one of my first memories of Watford. From that day I have become a huge Watford fan and have gone to 4 of the fa cup games this season!

Tuesday 29th April 1975. In the Rookery, 18 years old. Balled me eyes out at the end of the game. What followed two years later was like a fairy tale.

Absolutely superb boys. Great selection of interviewees (is that even a word?) - Dave Messenger offered a great insight. Watched it in the gym (live in Leicester now mind) and nearly burst into tears when GT first spoke. You horns!!!!

@John Buffalo I am 97 Grandad moved to Loughborough from London for Lorry Work (East Mids haulage capital an all that). When he passed away we inherited the house and it's a cheaper way of living - but I am absolutely not a Northerner now lol

@John Buffalo I am 97 Yeah really nice way of life. A lot less stress than London that's for sure. Not sure exactly but think around 120k, 3 bedroom house. Can't get a shed in Watford for that.

Absolutely brilliant this! Nearly a few teary moments watching all that back! Agree with others that we should have had another chapter but maybe the media team are writing that chapter when we win the cup tomorrow! See you in the pond at 9pm!

Poleon should have been sent off rather than Deeney. Then again were we ready for the prem that year? Idk. We had a much better squad in our promotion years, one of our most competent squads with deeney, iggy, vydra, fessi, Abdi, Gomes, Angella, Guedioura, paredes, tozser etc. Tbh probably a blessing because we went up with a competent team rather than yo-yo-ing like Norwich etc. Whatever happens at Wembley doesn't matter, we can celebrate getting to the FA Cup final with our squad. Bare in mind we never splashed millions on big names and new players in the transfer window like wolves, Everton, man city etc. we've had pretty much the same squad as last year (minus Richie and plus Foster) only we've achieved a record amount of points, goals, highest PL finish and an FA Cup final. We're going to need replacements for next year. Just remember Europe isn't everything, teams like Burnley, Swansea and Wigan are good reminders of that. Our comeback from 2-0 at 79 mins is good enough in itself not to mention gerards first goal

Also on another note! That leeds game when we almost went up was utter BS of the highest order!!! Michael brown hacked down hogg in the first 5 and it was a stone wall penalty!! If that would have gone in we would have been promoted 100 percent. Like Troy says everything went against us!!

If Chris stark actually knew anything about football! How he got to where he is today is anyone’s guess as his brain lacks any intelligence. Can’t explain it it’s just a Watford thing we do? Wtf you on about? Easily explained and it’s not a Watford thing either.
