My school is doing Grease next year, I'm auditioning for Rizzo! And apparently the edit we're doing is different to the official "school version" so there's a chance they'll just change the context and a couple lyrics of "there are worse things I could do" instead of deleting it completely, so !!!

Update: I got cast as miss lynch, rip. But tbh the girl who did get Rizzo will be a better Rizzo than me, so I'm not mad. Also, I got the script and update on songs: they didn't cut or edit Worse Things at all, they just made it about... rizzo cheating on kenickie?????? But they cut Sandra Dee entirely

@@johnrexthernsunga3216 idk where the school got it, i got it from the school. but since i made that comment they ended up not cutting sandra dee, they just changed some lyrics ("lousy with virginity" became "angel full of purity", a few other sexual references softened, and "fungool" is replaced with "be cool" at the end because "fungool" is italian for "fuck off")

Wish I had seen this and not the one I saw at the Dominion theatre 2nd September 2023 the story was all over the place…..sorry but Sandy was blonde not black haired…..I had to ask my husband which one was Danny as he didn’t stand out from the other male performers……the best bit was when Sandy came out …..it was like a non event ….nothing like how it should have been…….the singing was good….but the casting was not …😂😂
