This video has been a long time in the making - it is the accumulation of years of practicing and learning and growing. Learning French has allowed me to have so many incredible experiences and am I so grateful for all of the amazing opportunities I've had. Language learning is such an enriching experience (whether or not you are able to do an exchange!!). It allows you to understand other cultures better, listen (and understand!) music and videos in that language, and make friends with people you may not have been able to connect with otherwise. Fall 2015 - Inspired by High School French Teacher and Decided to do an Exchange (Grade 9).
Feb-May 2017 - Exchange in France Near Lyon (Grade 10).
Spring 2018 - Passed the DELF B2 (Grade 11).
July 2018 - Explore Immersion Program in Québec City at Université Laval (Summer Between Grade 11/12).
2018-2019 - Wrote My Extended Essay in French (Grade 11/12).
August 2019-Present - University Student in Geneva, Switzerland.
