@@falsehoodrefuted Yes, that may be the case. But, even if he is, we know that reciting Hadith with tajweed rules has been permitted by scholars. @@snapshot2022 So there is ikhtilaaf on it then. Whenever there is ikhtilaaf then it is best to take the safe option if you are unsure. So we can't say people are wrong for doing it nor can we say people are incorrect for saying you can't do it as it is a matter where differening among the Scholars has occurred. I personally don't take from Salih al Munaajid anyway. He seems to have an affection for Sayyid Qutb which is a red flag for me. Also ironically Sheikh Uthaymeen Rahimahullah called him an ikhwani SubhanAllah
