Aside from the most important reward, which is in the Hands of Almighty God, we undertake to send each of our valued patrons at least two updates each month: one written item (newsletter), and one multimedia. Specifically, these will include: 1. Samples of publications and work in progress, including Ibn ʿAshur Dictionary entries and sections from the Tahrir Introductions and the history in Tafsir and its People. 2. Behind-the-scenes videos of work sessions, providing insight into the research process. Educational discussions between Dr. Sohaib Saeed, Sh. Salman Nasir, and other team members and guests. Some of the video content will later be provided to the general public or made available as courses at Ibn ʿAshur Academy, but some will remain exclusively for patrons of this project.

@@johnthomas8532 wa alaykum assalam! Certainly, Imam Ibn ‘Ashur’s Tafsir is preceded by ten chapters by way of introduction. Together, they elaborate not only his own methodology, but key issues in understanding and interpreting the Quran. We are translating and annotating these to help promote deeper understanding of the field. The plan is to publish that as a combined volume along with التفسير ورجاله a history of the genre written by al-Fadil Ibn ‘Ashur (son of al-Tahir).
