Iman made David Bowie a very happy man...what more could a legend ask for....We all have our time on earth, unfortunately it was his time to depart....We lost an amazing performer, songwriter, who influenced the world with his amazing song's...At least she has a beautiful memories, and we all his creative imagination through his songs to listen to forever more.

When I found out he died, I felt like crying, but I thought like, 'You don't deserve to cry, you didn't even know him. His family must be going through something terrible. How dare you cry' So yeah

★Ziggy Stardust★ A lot of people cried for different reasons. Some never met him and they wanted, some are sentimental, some really got the chance to know him, some felt happy with his music cause have grown up with them, the music has memories of their life... All are important, and if you want to cry, go ahead. Whatever the reason is, all are important for each one of us

I know what you meant like his family are the most affected by his death but if you really feel his lost, cry. I did it and still hurts watching the Lazarus video whenever I do. He showed the world such a talent and charisma he will be missed forever, although he's neither a relative nor a friend of ours.

Lexie you are half right, i freak out when i see people crying at funeral of famous people and think they are a bit cringey and slightly insane like over the mass histeria for diana's death. but this time it's a question of how much an artist touched your life. i was 9 years old when i bought my first 7'' in life. it was david bowie! he inspired me becoming a musician and an artist, how could i dare being so disrespectful and cry some tears NOT?

I'll never forget when Tiffany Pollard found out he'd died on Celebrity Big Brother UK. It was mind bending. David's ex-wife was in the house at the time and the scene was quite explosive.

death by weedwhacker .... exactly! They make it sound as if it is weird to be heartbroken if your husband dies - I'm not married but my soulmate and I had our 20th anniversary last fall - if that would happen to me....can't even think about it. I silently hope to be the first one to pass on but if he ever finds out, he's gonna kick my ass 'cause he feels exactly the same😉

I think that your husband just was such a good person. I didn't even know him personally, but would like to have. He could have taught me alot, and I could have taught him a lot too, but he already knew so much. He's made me want to get back into music, art, writing music again, and learning different languages again. I already know some, but I would like to know more. I like how he stood up for black people, and how he made his own kind of music, and not what everybody else wanted. I like to do that too. I turn and face the strange, but he makes me feel more confident about being weird, because that's all I know how to be. And since he was afraid of planes too, that reminds me that I DON'T have to get on one, but I have him beat. I've never been on a plane, and he has. I will never get on one, ever, ever, ever. But he makes me want to be a better person. I already am one, I just need some touching up. And you guys had THE PERFECT marriage, just like Michael J. Fox. I love private people that don't tell you what they don't want you to know, and they leave work at work and home at home. That's is possible to do, but very hard. It reminds me that I need to do that when I'm at work, cause I had slipped over the years. I don't know about you, but he was very disciplined, and I liked that that a man could do that, without sacrificing his image as a man. But anway, I'm trying to build a life just as successful as yours. we don't need to be famous, but I'm building up to the life we need. I am not obsessed with you guys, but I look at you guys as strong role models. That's how people should act. I'm from a family that raised me right and I feel very weird in an area where other people didn't get the same kind of upbringing that I did. But I like that he was grounded, and made me want to get back into books, but I haven't done it, and he makes me remember to stand up for myself, but you don't have to be rude necessarily, just according to the situation. Anyway, good luck in your life, I just wanted to tell you that.

They weren't quite people and weren't quite gods. They were uniquely talented demigods who made millions if not billions happy. I saw David perform in Winnipeg around 90/91. He was on the top of my bucket list and I went to a lot of concerts being a Radio DJ over a 20 year span. Thank you for your contribution to humanity.

Why would he be? He and Bowie was not that close. Jagger was just one of his many acquintances among musicians who he used to meet more often when they were younger (in the seventies). I think Iman and Jagger barely know each other at all. There are definitely people much closer to her who can console her.
