You should try the nail plates with a matte topcoat over a finished nail so just the design is matte, but the same color as the rest of the nail

The velour lashes website says that the mink fur is brushed off, and the animals aren't harmed. I know that's not always the case with mink fur, but this time, there's no need to worry!

They don't actually hurt the animal they just use the hair. You don't have to skin an animal to get hair from it.
