IMAX & 4DX Cinema City Shopping City Timisoara

Cinema City Shopping City Timisoara is the only cinema in Romania where there are all the available cinema technologies in one cinema: 2D, 3D, IMAX and 4DX.
The cinema has a capacity of 2550 seats of which the IMAX has 409 seats.
The projection equipment used in the cinema are Christie Digital projectors, Dolby servers, 3D filters are Master Image , 4DX and IMAX technology and sound of the highest quality is offered by QSC.
Construirea din temelie a celui mai mare cinematograf multiplex din afara capitalei: Cinema City Shopping City Timisoara. Singurul cinematograf din Romania in care se gasesc toate tehnologiile disponibile in cinematografie: 2D, 3D, IMAX sau 4DX.
Cinematograful are o capacitate de 2550 locuri, iar sala T-IMAX are 409 locuri. Ecranul salii T-IMAX are ~350 mp.
Pentru proiectie sunt folosite proiectoare digitale Christie, servere Dolby, filtrele 3D sunt Master Image, iar sunetul, de cea mai inalta calitate, este oferit de QSC.

Yes it is better. We had a IMAX in Vienna and it was all the Time too much people. We must 1-3 days before booking our Tickets. Iam sad :( for many years it close the Doors.

The cinema construction was made by a romanian construction company named Safe and the projection equipment with the seats were installed by the Cinema City team. The 4DX was also installed by Cinema City under the supervision and guidance of a 4DX technician from Korea and of coarse the IMAX that was installed by the IMAX team.

Matcroft because IMAX uses their own sound coding. They don't use Dolby Digital or DTS. They also use laser alignment for speakers. 5.1 gives you the best sound quality if your sitting in the very center of the theater. The only add an extra subwoofer for those very deep low frequencies.

No but they now have 12-track IMAX. This theater actually looks a lot like Liemax. I don't think that screen is 6 stories.... The IMAX in Ft. Lauderdale , FL is absolutely HUGE. The Speakers are different than these as well. Each speaker has ones demonstrated on the imax youtube page on The Art of Sound. I'm sure some of the LieMax screens are still decent but nothing compares to the 6 full story LASER projection there.

@@s1d3k1ckRO Not your fault.... if it sounds decent, then just be glad of that. Out IMAX is Liemax as well and uses some really old tech. The real IMAX speakers are awesome too look at. The ones in the back of our theater look 20 years old.

The imax is a liemax. It is not a true dual laser projection or 15/70 film projection.
