I think tac sprint is one of the big things that ruined it. In older cods you didn’t need autosprint to save your controller’s left stick. Basically forces you to do the high speed evasive nerd maneuvers and you don’t always feel like playing like that

it's crazy how everyone (besides you) used to think ghosts was the worst cod of all time. yet now, 10 yrs later, It's not even in the bottom 5. just shows how spoiled we were back then. back then a bad cod was bad because of the ideas and/or execution. they try something WITH GOOD INTENTIONS, it sucks, they learn from their mistakes and we get a better cod within the next year or two. now the games are somewhat intentionally bad. they know exactly what we dont want yet they still add it because it benefits them.

I feel like COD nowadays just tries way too hard to be realistic, especially in the movement and graphics, but at the end of the day, I’d rather play a game that’s fun than “realistic.” Another problem with newer COD games is a lack of originality. It does seem as though COD has gave us everything it could’ve possibly offered. Even though I love the 90’s and the setting, I’m not really losing my mind over Black Ops 6… Because yeah, it just looks more of the same. With that said, we are going on the 6th Black Ops game, and I think they need to lay Black ops titles to rest for good after this one. The only reason they are still making Black Ops games is because of nostalgia, let’s be real here. I would’ve been totally okay if they stopped making COD’s after Black Ops 3 or up to a certain point because the only COD’s I play are the old school ones anyways.
