As a person with autism, thank you for raising your child so calmly and understandingly. I was not, and it really messed me up with how I perceive relationships, communications, and body language for the rest of my life. I am still unlearning bad habits from being raised by people who didnt understand or try to diagnose me. So thank you, very much. And Jameson will thank you later too. You really are raising him right, and I'm so happy to see it. Makes me cry some times, but like... happy tears haha

I actually moved from Southern California to Nevada a year ago. I am an hour outside of Vegas in a little town called Pahrump. Beautiful thing about this place is you can homestead here, you are less than an hour away from Vegas with everything you need while also being away from the city, in a quiet town, that have three grocery’s stores. One Walmart and a ton of thrift stores for your clothing. Lol. I love this place. It’s a whole different world. Even better than being in Vegas.

I am still trying to figure out why I can tell my Alexa to turn on my bedroom light 10 times before she will do it. Brandon that thing you're talking about for the leaves is called a sweeper I believe. It's a part you connect behind your mower and it sucked up all the leaves and acorns into the bag. Then can dump it wherever you need.

I have 2 autistic nephews and one of them started off not talking and doctors said he had nonverbal autism but with some speech therapy and a wonderful grandfather he started to talk. And to see the milestones of your son and my nephews are just amazing

I think the thing your FIL would like is a riding grass bagger. Look a up your riding mower and see if they sell a twin bagger attachment. That's way cheaper than buying a while new machine. And I'm with him. Keeping the leaves off your lawn is like making your bed. Because it's the biggest thing in the area it dramatically improves the look of the area.

I love this video, but one moment in here hit me in my feels so hard and I just have to say it. When Jameson spilled the water bottle and neither one of you gasped, yelled, or reacted negatively at all, I cried.😭 Growing up, if I spilled or dropped anything by accident, my mother would absolutely lose her mind on me. She would yell, curse, etc. when it would happen and it's such a small thing in hindsight, but it left such an impact on me that when I do it in my adult life or see if happen, I instantly tense up and panic. It's been a work in progress, but it's gotten way better. I have two boys, and when they accidentally spill something, I make sure to keep myself calm so they don't get upset, and then I help them clean it and let them know that accidents happen. Long comment, I know. I'm sorry. I just wanted to share that I loved that moment. You guys are phenomenal parents.💜🖤
