That's not entirely true. There's an animation for every item produced. I believe it is 6 seconds. Work speed will reduce that animation time. Thus increasing production.

Max stars is only megas. Ive tested it. 3 stars is when you get a chance at megas, 4 stars increases those chances of megas. Doesnt go above that.​@@trent0987

if it hasnt been answered yet, capturing pals from behind (youll see back bonus) is the extra 20% . sleeping pals also provide a bit more yet can oddly fend off spheres as well.

So in the end, work speed traits do nothing to help, having sanity and hunger reduction is good though. As that means more uptime. That's about it.

The highest sphere they dig up is mega spheres. 4 star vixies only give a higher chance to get mega spheres. I have my vixy farm running 24/7 afk on a server and never got spheres higher than mega.

@4:20 - No, Artisan Work Speed +50% and Serious +20% Work Speed is not the best combo. The best combo would actually be Artisan +50% Work Speed and Workaholic -15% Sanity drop. This will have your Pals working longer at the +50%, as they will need less time for breaks. If you are adamant on prioritizing Work Speed however, then the better option would be Artisan +50% and Work Slave +30% Work Speed, -30% Attack I feel it more important to point out however, that Pal Drops at the Ranch are a set value that is only improved by ranking up, so Work Speed is useless in this case. Great for Farming crop, and Crafting however. The ideal setup for a Rancher would be: Workaholic (Sanity Drop 15% slower) - less need for breaks Diet Lover (-15% Hunger) - less need to feed Swift (+30% Movement Speed) - faster travel time for food/sleep Fourth slot is down to personal choice at this point. Might also be worth noting that the Ranch has a lowered impact on sanity than other tasks though.

the reason it has different capture rates is due to many factors. your level, their level, how many lifmunk statues you upgraded with, etc. but one of the biggest is capturing from behind. if you capture them from the front itll have lower chances but if you capture from behind it gives you a back bonus. this back bonus can be pretty big to and i recommend capturing them with the back bonus.

Work Speed does not affect Ranch, only skill level sadly. Also, you need less beegardes/honey because you only need 2 honey per cake. Vixy at best (i think 3-4*) give mega spheres occasionally but by the time you get there youre going to need giga and above spheres. Fun times, but not practical unless you wanna spend an hour trying to shove a 30 pal into a mega sphere your vixy gave you.

Pals will keep working while you're away, but not if you log off completely. They also still slowly lose hunger and sanity, causing them to be severely injured if you're gone for longer than an hour, so box your pals or leave your pc running if you plan on sleeping

Put a ranch down, surround it with foundation, put walls on the foundation (closest to the ranch), delete the ranch. Put raised foundation in the center where the ranch was, leaving enough space for the ranch to be placed directly under ceiling that will be placed last. Place the ranch, place ceiling over the ranch, build the ranch, now you have a ranch platform and your pals can farm on top of the platform. Place beds and a feedbox for convenience.
