My top 10 choice: 10. Close Encounters 9. Papillon 8. The French Connection 7. Serpico 6. Apocalypse Now 5. The Deer Hunter 4. The Exorcist 3. Godfather II 2. The Godfather 1. A BRIDGE TOO FAR How anyone can think the repulsive Clockwork Orange is worthy of even being in the list or rate two Monty Python comedies higher than The Deer Hunter and many other great dramatic movies is absolutely bizarre, but what is more annoying is that all you films in the list of 70 which were carefully filmed in 4:3 have now had 25% of their image thoughtlessly cut away just so they fill a 16:9 TV.

I like most of the films on this list but, not the order. Eraserhead is the most overrated movie on this list. It tries too hard to be funny & weird. The Outlaw Josey Wales & Slap Shot should be on this list as well as Looking For Mr. Goodbar.
