@@crisisboy5822 Alex is massively beyond light speed while Cole is only 2* FTL. The prima guide confirms it and even gives him a feat that gives him near flash lvl of reaction speed. The prima guide for prototype 2 confirmed that a Goliaths attacks(which would include it's ram) move as fast as electricity, and Heller even before infection was outrunning it, yet mercer still keeps up to him. He could easily get the touch in before Cole even realizes Alex moved.

The only reason he had to weaken the leader hunter was due to them gaining immunity to Mercer's consumption. 4:07 Regarding the Ray Sphere, it was engineered to emit radiation specifically beneficial to conduits. The sphere emitted a type of radiation tuned to conduits, primarily electricity-based. Given that electricity is Cole's power source, he exhibits a heightened affinity to Ray Sphere radiation compared to most conduits. The Ray Sphere's design purposefully avoids lethal consequences for Cole. 4:17 Their claim that Cole would be able to resist the Blacklight virus is inaccurate. There is a reason why the virus's can consume non-biological things and mimic them. 4:32 Viruses do not possess electricity. Mercer's body simulates it which is imitated by the Blacklight, and if Cole attempted to bioleech, the consequences would be bad, especially considering the detrimental effects of Whitelight after it was infected by Mercer's blood. 4:41 Cole shield converts damage into energy, not matter into energy. People infected by the Blacklight virus promptly fall into Mercer's hivemind as slaves at stage 1. For people wondering, no. This death battle is actually wrong. Deathbattle has been known to get battles wrong even by their own logic. If you need proof on how they are wrong in general. They claimed Cole's storm generated several megatons due to breaking an aircraft carrier in half, but the beast tanks that exact same attack despite being obliterated by a massively weaker attack in the form of the 51 kiloton nuke used in game. If you need an example of wrong by their own logic. Look at their section on the RFI. They said it boosts Cole's power, yet also inhibits rayfield energy, the same energy that gave Cole his powers. Meaning by their own wording, the RFI should be weakening Cole, not boosting him. If y'all want more example on how this DB is wrong, I can literally give you over a dozen.

Cole was able to survive an explosion from the Ray Sphere, WITHOUT POWERS and survived, while the explosion leveled 5 to 6 blocks of Empire City, yet when Mercer is given a nuke to the face, he turns to goo. Cole can create an Ionic Vortex, which upon closer inspection can cover a whole district or city. The only "real" chance Alex has is if he somehow infects Cole with the Blacklight Virus, but as you probably didn't know is that conduits are immune to natural diseases. Cole was powerful enough to charge the RFI, the thing that, y'know, KILLED most CONDUITS, which is a planetary level feat, while Alex was able to infect a city. And you have the audacity to say that ALEX could win against Cole? Out of your damn mind.
