This gorgeous, poignant song was the theme for the blockbuster movie, Titanic. A dear, longtime friend of mine actually created a 'Titanic Night,' many years ago, at one of our prestigious hotels in the city. It was perfect, and right down to the exact menu. (Note: the 'ship' at the hotel didn't sink! There was none, just a classy diningroom with many folks in it, dressed in the 'clothing of the day.') We were lucky we got to meet Milvena Dean, the youngest survivor of the Titanic, at that time, in her 90s. She also dressed in period clothing for the occasion. My friend, who dressed as the Captain, that night, has been a collector of all things Titanic, since he was very young, so I thought I'd sing this song and dedicate it to him. Here you go, Wayne, my buddy--- for you!
