@@tangeray10gintonic82: I read an article on his transfer. He is taking courses early, and MD had more than the normal number of credits required for graduation. They weren't likely to accept some of his other summer classes. By transferring to IMG Elias can get all his work to count and graduate early so he can get to LSU (?) early and get a semester jump on college. It was an interesting read. He's not a flunkie. He's very focused and moving himself forward. Even though he could win another title at MD, he knows there's more than that, and he's willing to give up the rings or banners for what he considers more valuable.

Those 'regular' teams are usually among the top teams in their respective states. IMG plays whatever teams agree to schedule them. No one has to schedule IMG. But some see it as a chance to play a top-team in preparation for a playoff run.
