Thanks, I will look for more drills at your famed academy. I'm in Vancouver have returned to coaching Football after 46 years away and right away see that the fundamentals are almost the same. (the Tackling is different and they're not as tough as we were) You've graduated many fine students in Football who went on to university and even professional success. One is Canadian Michael O'Connor who won a scholarship to Penn State then switched to UBC (next to Vancouver) and led them to the national title. I saw him play many times and thought he was one of the greatest young QB's I've seen who was able to pick out secondary Receivers while keeping calm. It's a pity the professional CFL never really gave him a good chance and

Didn’t know Lavosea’s name until this video, seeing his quick bounce at just 2:21 into this video i had to google and learn more. I was intrigued to see he switched to CB, but was happy to learn that he stayed and is trusting the process (for now). Whatever he decides to do, that slooooooww grind can teach ya a lot. The article i read noted he is consistently seen getting in extra work after practice. Whatever you teach these kids at IMG is an approach we should see mimicked across the nation. Thanks for this video coaches, & trust the slow grind Lavosea

On the change of direction drill I’d have them switching the ball as if the cone is the threat and he is making the cut instead of just high and tight in one arm.

Awesome work. Although it's universally coached and preached, "High & Tight" is fundamentally and functionally an unsound technique. It exposes too much contact area of the football.
