(I'm spreading this because personally I think it's important) for people to know BakuDeku is NOT toxic abusive relationship? Bakugou does not hate Izuku, and Izuku was not his cause of anger. So, as you may have seen in the anime or manga, Bakugou confirmed his quirk contained nitroglycerin(from the glycerin of Mitsuki's quirk). Now nitroglycerin can reduce the heart beat dramatically to the point he would be able to die. He had to keep his heat up and stay mad around everyone. Bakugou explained to All Might in the mangas' that he does not hate Izuku, in fact he bullied him because he wanted to keep him away from him, because he would be teased by all his other cool friends for hanging out with him. Bakugou also has Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) which is a psychiatric disorder that may occur in people who have experienced or witnessed a traumatic event such as a natural disaster, a serious accident, a terrorist act, war/combat, or rape or who have been threatened with death, sexual violence or serious injury. Bakugou has been mistreated by his mother, most likely abused, he got kidnapped and his parents did not give 2 fucks, he fights all the time just to become the top hero, putting his life at risk, he was threatened by villains about his life and more than i even know. In season 1, Izuku ran to save Bakugou from a villain, despite if he was strong enough or not. His exact words were "I just couldn't stop moving". In season 5, Bakugou saved Izuku and got stabbed, experiencing a near death situation. He said the exact same words "I just could not stop moving". The reason why Izuku in season 1 reacted so calmly about Bakugou telling him to jump off a roof is because he knows Bakugou, he knows him more than anybody else. The fight between Bakugou-Izuku was because Bakugou was extremely jealous that his childhood best friend would surpass him, because he was All Might's successor. They both wanted to be his successors but Izuku won. He was so jealous that he wanted to see what was so special about him, and what he was better than him at. Bakugou and Izuku both care about eachother. Also, Horikoshi's assistant ships BakuDeku and Horikoshi originally made Bakugou have a crush on Deku because of "a silent voice", later, he changed the crush to Uraraka because the show would be far more popular with all the other ships. Of couse IzuOcha is the most canon ship possible, but just don't say it's an abusive/toxic ship, because even if it seems to be If you can't pin please copy this and spread it (the above was not made by me)

People say this ship is toxic and yes, middle school energy bakudeku def is, maybe not implicitly, but explicitly said, izuku was very much bullied, targeted and beat up by someone he considered his best friend and that's not ok. Jealousy or rare quirk conditions aside, but this type of bakudeku is just extremely sweet and satisfying to see and I can't understand how people don't see this side of their relationship when its clear from all the flashbacks midorya gets of them. He's beyond fond of bakugou, and you're right he does understand him on a level nobody else has, or can. Even kirishima. They're compatible because so much of who they are stems from their childhood friendship. Katsuki feeling the need to fight to stay on top so he can be admired, izukus admiration for kacchan (as a hero) and the abuse he endured by him being the reason behind his self sacrificing nature (he thinks he's worthless cause he's been called worthless all his life). Whoever says they don't have chemistry is lying. They saw the worst in each other already, there are no expectation to live up to, only a strive to do better, regardless. Thats what love should be, the person who makes you want to be better, push yourself to do the best you can, and also the person who will help you, lighten your burdens, support you through difficult times. They have that! Especially in season 6 in the manga, they frickin have that!

Allot of the homophobic bullies tend to target the ones they're attracted to. Especially when they're old friends who fall into strong pressure groups and have to distance themselves from you thanks to the high school drama hierarchy. The violence is a coping mechanism. I married my bully after he got divorced and he reached out to me when I posted I got cheated on by my ex. Only people who have been bullied have that connection with someone who they know. It's our 5th year and we're raising his kids together.
