Ethel Waters Judy Garland Abbey Lincoln and Nancy Wilson all do great versions of this song. Judy sang it for her son and her version is perhaps the most heartfelt and sincere but Waters and Miss Lincoln and Miss Wilson are enchanting singers

@@joemiller6975 I agree with you, and also add for consideration the Peggy Lee, Rosemary Clooney, Ella Fitzgerald, Susan Hayward (her real voice, not the Jane Froman dub), & Better Midler version's of this Arlen classic song. ALL, are wonderful. I'm Not saying any one of them is better than Garland. Just the song has so much going for it, that it works so well done in a number of styles, by a number of artists.
