These scene encounters between Hansu and Sunja are so beautiful done I never get tired of watching them. And everytime I experience the joy of falling in love , being in love and even the pain of a heart and dreams broken.

She represented the innocence he lost in the course of his life, his soul. This series was so beautiful I read the book, which is also brilliant. But in fact the film director's addition of Hansu's history helps us understand how & why he became what he became & why he loved her until he died. Films rarely improve on the book but this series did.

Your comment is everything I think about Hansu and Sunja. Too many people think Hansu just used Sunja, preying on her innocence. I disagree - she was the love of his life, one he’d never experienced before due to what happened to him when he was growing up (and his father’s misfortune with women that ultimately cost him his life). I also love that we got to see this side of Hansu in e7 - it makes him much more than just a bad guy and utilises Lee Minho’s outstanding acting skills as well.

@@godsbabygirl1697 in the book they don’t get back together, even when Hansu becomes a widower. I don’t know how the series is going to okay it though. From the trailers it looks like they become closer, Hansu is teaching Sunja to drive and is at the head if the table for family meals. It’s very sad because she is the love of this life. No other woman came close to Sunja for Hansu. I’ve just watched e3 and it was fantastic. Sunja still despises Hansu and he looks upset at that, however you can see the joy in his face when they fly the kite together.

@@ormellingI’d love to see him doing that but I’m not sure if they would go that far in the tv show. Minho handled that type of scene well in Gangnam 1970, and he was still fairly young then. I’m sure he’d do it justice with his more mature acting skills.

Конечно в патинко лиминхо уже взрослый мужчина с большим жизненным опытом и судьбой, но ни чуть не стал хуже, наоборот, выглядит замечательно, достойно.
