I think those bulkheads use 2 nuts and Teflon washers (if need be) on a flat surface but looks like you made it work. You really did a awesome job on that surge tank. The wiring with the ferrules was mint. Looking to do something similar with the surge tank, so was good to see your thought process. Great work, great video! 😎

if you remove more sound deadening, the best way to do it is to lay dry ice all over it till it freezes it and then you can just hit it with a hammer and it will all shatter off the metal

it may be a bit extreme but if you fabricated a mount to make it sideways in the wheel well would both hide and protect it for the most part, and you can always make a plate thing to screw on the stock thread in the well to support the carpet also.

I'd worry about running that surge tank dry if the pump in the surge tank flows more than the pump in the gas tank. Just a thought.

The stock pump will outflow the new pump as the stock pump now doesn't have to fight any pressure to keep the surge tank full. The surge tank pump needs to fight against the 43psi pressure regulator on the fuel rail.

U need some proper crimp tools my boi. Crimping with pliers / wirecutters and trusting it not to spark is not the move esp near fuel stuff. U keep an extinguisher but $15 set of crimp tools is worth it bro

there's an easier way to get rid of this thick sound proofing material, all you need is some dry ice, just scatter it around and then use a hammer, it will crumble and it will be much quicker to get rid of it
