I'm leaning towards the "stove pipe" straight pant leg myself. It sort of between straight and wide leg and seems to balance my figure best.

My preference is also the straight leg pants. I just get lost in the volume of the wide leg. And I have also caught my foot and tripped the wide legs that could just be a knee problem LOL

Ive seen barrel jeans on apple shapes that are knock kneed and there is a balance. The look is straight legged. I'm all for elevated track and athletic wear because the fabrics are wicking and its hot AF here. I don't want any fabric touching me and i want it as light weight as possible.

Barrel leg jeans are ugly and unflattering IMO!!! I may try the snake/zebra print trend because I already own some very nice accessories in those patterns 🦓🖤🩶🤍 I love jewelry, so layering - yes- but piling it on - uh , NO!!! 😅

I find the stiffness of denim doesn’t look good in barrel but! Soft barrel shape In viscose , linen and chambray Lyocell looks amazing especially in 7/8 ankle grazer length. You’d look great with a striped French tucked top (you’ve taught me well 😊) in a pair of 7/8 chambray barrels - please try on for us and see if you like them xxxx

I just can't get my head around barrel leg jeans! It just looks wrong to me, regardless of body type. I don't even think it looks good on runway models! I don't want to look bow-legged, thank you very much! 😮 Another trend I, as a pear morphed into a menopausal apple, am going to avoid is the carrot leg pants/jeans. 🫢
