Fact is clergymen read scripturas at their face value and ignore the real rich underlaying meaning. God says He may forgive Huqooq-ul-Allah (rights of God) but he will not forgive Huqood-ul-Ibad (rights of human). Yet clergymen cling on fulfilling right of God consider it a superior act. Hope this explains.
