I Automated the Holidays for the Satisfactory FICSMAS Event

The nice thing is how simple the load balancing is at first before getting crazy. Just prioritize building the gift trees before anything else. My whole factory is based off of 12 each of the red and blue ornaments. That’s 5 gifts/min * 24 smelters = 120 gifts/min. Work the iron and copper assemblers around that and belt in ingots. I have buffer containers set up for all of the decoration types in case I need them to build/research, and in case the load balancing doesn’t act how the math says it should. I’m putting together my final assembly line for the Wonder Stars now.

The comment about "We're Under attack!" is quite real. I was playing at 1am on 11/30, Ficsmas started early (by accident) and I heard a loud explosion near me, scare the crap out of me. It was giant presents raining hell down upon me.

FYI: It is not as user friendly but you do not need the empty hands mod to have empty hands on the screen. You can go to your inventory and drag the tool that is in your hand back to your inventory you will have empty hands. However if you scroll to a different tool you can't get back to the empty tool slot. So, not as user friendly but possible without the mod. I enjoy the channel as always.

I'm sad they removed the equipment item for the snowballs and instead made them just another ammo type for the detonator. I liked the snap to boom thing plus it was the least screen obstructive and reloaded faster than the detonator.

.......just curious, while this event can be so much fun, I am limited for playing time......so I am wondering if there is a gain to my normal progress by spending so much time on the Christmas event goals? Or is it just for fun with no gain to my factories and progress? Thanks for your comments on this.....is it practical for me to divert from my usual strategy just to make a christmas tree?? I am newer so your comments are all welcome.

At the very least you get daily stuff in the advent calendar and while there will probably be coal there was also super position occilators and those are way valuable. Also last year I found it worth it to store snowballs instead of noblisks. Easier to make. Plus it's also fun.
