I love that you flew up to get an areal screenshot, ported that over to photoshop, and drew a whole map overtop of it... just to come to the conclusion of "what if I just go around everything?" Beautiful.

i been tryna figure out how i want my monolithic ocean-set iron/steel factory to the far east of the desert, its just a floor with power generation, completely stumped! but watching these vids is definitely giving me ideas on how to use the space better. as chaotic as kibz' factory looks it's organised chaos and it uses a lot of nice space-saving tricks! :D

Nice to see someone else committing to the end. I made an attempt to use all resource nodes on the map with as efficient recipes as possible. My biggest smeltworks ended up making 43.011 ingots/min with 254 Refineries at OC 215% requiring about 8.5 GW of power. This was at update 3.5 I believe, then the next update came breaking both the game and me x) Hoping to recover and reach your results at some point!

That photoshop thing was a great idea, however did you even notice that your factory from that far up starts to look like some sort of computer component, like a mother board or something, it looks so pcb-ish its dope.
@erictripps1253 ай бұрын
When dealing with fabricators, high volume input items, AND recipes that require 3 components you can always double feed from two inputs. So instead of running one belt to 7 machines you can run two belts through 14 machines. Not necessarily a more efficient method but it can be a much simpler solution depending on layout.
