In this video, we will go over, step by step, form IMM5476e also know as the Use of A Representative form.
Whether you are applying for your temporary visa, permanent residence, sponsoring your spouse or a family member, you need to fill this form out if
a) you have hired a paid consultant to do the application for you
b) you are sponsoring your spouse/family member and are doing the application for them or
c) a friend is helping you do the application for you
Both the Sponsor and the principal applicant need to fill this form out when applying for spouse/spousal permanent residence in Canada under family class.

Hey, would really appreciate if you can clarify this. Under current guidelines IRCC is asking to sign this form online. According to guide 5772. For 2022 pgp intake. Does it makes a big difference if we print and physically sign!! If anything it just looks more genuine (if you know what I mean).

Thanks Suyash for the help and lovely videos. qq, So just wanted to know is the 5476 form mandatory to fill if I am filling the outland sponsorship for my wife. I am filling most of the forms by myself and then my wife signs the forms where she needs to. Sometimes we do screenshare. I am guessing the sponsor fills the forms usually in all cases. Do we still need to fill this form. Is there a way that IRCC will know if it was the sponsor filled the form instead of the principal applicant . Regards.

Both parents already have Canadian visitor visas....we are now applying for our kids only (13 yrs and 6yrs). How exactly do we apply? We entered all information in the new IRCC portal for the kids, but when we tried to submit the application in the end we need to say who is the principal applicant (and we can only choose one of the kids (both are minors)). URGENT Scenario: The SOWP application was submitted earlier and the file is now withdrawn. Now at the time of submitting a spousal sponsorship application, the status of SOWP is "Withdrawn". - I have an official letter from IRCC. The UCI was issued at that time. I do have UCI for my spouse so q4 of Section A will be filled out because it is known. What to write in q3 in Section A of this form?
