I have watched so many of your lectures tonight... seriously been watching them from 10pm till now, 5am. I am taking online courses in Ethics and Business Ethics and your lectures are saving my LIFE. I don't think I could keep up with my class work or grasp some of these concepts without them. Thank you soo so much!!

Writing an essay on how the Categorical Imperative is used by the Existentialists. These videos really help. Thanks!

Glad to read that -- you might check out the video I've got on Sartre's Existentialism is a Humanism, over in my Existentialist Philosophy and Literature playlist -- he's using something kind of like the CI

This video is a great complement of the video explaining this first formulation. Now I understand how to use this formulation. You could leave a link in the first video to this one so people can find it in an easier way. Thanks btw for the explanations. You see, I started to try to understand and study philosophy by myself (on KZbin, I know, but I intend to read something later!) because I thought: there must be some kind of way to be moral and follow some ethics without having to rely on religion (because that's one of the main argument of some religious people, that without religion the world would be just immoral). Then I started to ask myself, if I'm not going to do things because God said so, how am I going to defend some moral sense and according to what reasons? That's why I got into Crash Course Philosophy (here on YT) to understand some basic things about Philosophy and now I'm trying to understand some theories I saw there so I can see which ones to follow myself. So, thank you, you are now part of my atheist self-improvement project lol.
