Immanuel Wallerstein changed my life entirely. Without him, and along with him Giovanni Arrighi also, my life would be barren. He gave me the capacity to see the world as it is in actuality, with stronger eyes and mind. Too many words are needed to express neatly the debt I have with this man, a debt I will not have the chance to repay, a debt with a man I have never met. Sorrow and grief for his death. A father never met has passed away.

This is still a great, timely interview in 2023. As multipolarity rises, the lessons of World Systems Theory become more important

Immanuel, deberías simplemente haberlo dicho! Que si. Que si tenes motivo para mayormente ser optimista 🤔 He's picking at him. There's nothing to challenge here! Give him a break! RIP and love from Gaia. Your system has broken down, and "auto-destructed" ;-) ... (later) His end of logic proposals are sadly stopped one inch short of the pulse source, simply because he consciously extracts god seeking to build an atheistic rationality for them. But that doesn't mean of course that the 80% of what he is correct about regardless, feels quite broad and refreshingly spot on ... to a point.
