Meradalir Volcano seen in the evening of August 15th, 2022. At 01:58 - See how immense hot boulder crashes into the crater! We just returned from our 5th Volcsno expedition the newly erupting in Meradalir valleys. Volcano changed a lot. Now we don't have a small crater, it's gone dormant and big cone almost closed itself with just one exit facing south.

That’s amazing to see inside the volcano. Volcanos in Iceland look different than the Volcanos in the Pacific.

Nice video! The collapse seems to block the outflow so the lava in the crater so the explosions got larger as they originated deeper in the puddle. Towards the end the blockage was cleared and lava gushed out and around the bolder. I could watch tight shots of the crater and time lapse of the cone and crater exclusively. After the lava leave the caldera it becomes much less interesting IMO unless there is an interesting outflow at some volume, high rate of speed or acting strangely. Tight shots of various lava to see mineralization is interesting. Maybe a vid of all your closeups if lava rock with voice over, collapses ect like a highlight reels. Something to consider when the path is closed🙏 Keep’em commin’🌋

Hey Gutn Tog nice to see you back again for the new eruptions in Iceland Lets hope everyone stays safe, and that this eruption is not followed by another in La Palma, Ive never known there to be such an avalanche of volcanoes going off all over the world ! The earth is moving her axis, and I think we are living in dangerous times. alaya uk.

This is just magnificent, Roman! Excellent captures all around, but the boulders were so exciting! 😁 I am surprised that more people don’t use hiking poles which make traversing those steep hills so much easier and safer. They make collapsible ones so they can go in a tiny bag and are not cumbersome....What can I say? THANK YOU! ♥️♥️♥️
